The Federal Government has announced that it will work in partnership with Darwin City Council and the Northern Territory Government to develop a master plan to reshape Darwin’s central business district and improve the region’s productivity, liveability and sustainability.
The plan will guide the development of new roads and transport links to support Darwin’s growing population and economy.
The Federal Government said “The plan will guide the city for the next 20 years and develop Darwin as a leader for sustainable living in the tropics.
“With a wide range of projects gradually coming online set to boost the Territory’s economy, now is the time to put the infrastructure and planning in place to meet future demand.”
